The most uncomplicated cashback card for beginners is the ICICI Amazon Pay Credit Card. This card is so simple to understand that you really don’t need to think about anything while using it. Launched in 2018 but still is quite popular and literally, there has been no devaluation on the same to date.
So let’s have a quick look at what this card offers!

How to Apply?
Check for an invite here by logging into your Amazon India account. Having an ICICI relationship does help and may help you generate your card instantly. The application process is very smooth and the card is generally delivered to you within 2-3 days with a shared limit if you have an existing ICICI Bank credit card that too without any CIBIL enquiry.
But if you are not having an ICICI relationship then they may ask you for income documents with an ITR of at least ₹4.8LPA and a video KYC will be done. Also, the rejection rate is also quite good so make sure you give all the documents in one go.
TechnoFino Recommends
I would certainly recommend this to everyone, especially after the recent devaluation of HDFC 5X Smartbuy on Amazon. So if you don’t a premium card from HDFC then this card is ideal for all the Amazon spends. This card won’t work on ICICI sales on other websites. Hence it’s better to get another card like the ICICI MakeMyTrip Signature from ICICI through the expressions card route. Since ICICI Bank allows you to hold its complete portfolio of cards so it won’t be a problem to get as many cards as you want.
Even for premium cardholders, this can be a good addition to their plastic collection!

can u give example for “Don’t forget to use affiliate websites along with this card to jack up the reward rates”. Not clear what are you referring here for this?
[…] this card can replace all the cashback cards like ICICI Amazon Pay, RBL Zomato Edition, and Standard Chartered Smart and even beats Standard Chartered […]
ICICI Amazon Pay Credit Card worst card ever, please do not waste your time on it. They have a buggy platform connection.
There is a transaction timedout failure happening since last 2 weeks and Amazon asking to contact ICICI as it is not their issue and ICICI asking to contact the merchant as it’s not their issue.
No solution or support, it caused a lot time on it.
Feels like govt office.
If you are using Firefox on Windows 7, then yes you will face this issue.
Try Chrome on Windows 7 or use a different PC running Windows 10 or above.
That should sort it out.
This is to bring to awareness that today my ICICI Bank Amazon pay credit card immediately because of the recent worst experience and degradation of customer care related services after paying an overall impacted penalty of 2800/- additional charges on delay statement 9356/-INR . There are late payment charges of 815/-INR on outstanding amount 9356/-INR imposed on my statement at only 2 day delay in payment was from side because of not getting pre alert message/call not received on my phone and based on my verbal conversations with customer representatives on calls got suggestions to see always bank statement on mail or online portal to remind yourself. This is really sad and shameful, this bank has not had any request for reversal of late payment and even I have been associated with ICICI Bank under privilege banking through my salary account since 2005. My request for a late fee waiver was denied in my first call and the call was connected to speak with the customer care officer after 3 attempts where my current card number is not updated in online phone banking. In the call conversations the customer care officer had also told me that there will be other interest charges also charged on my final settlement. After that I paid the current outstanding card balance immediately and requested to close this card and not to continue this card. The phone call officer denied my request to close this card and apologized for not sending messages or calling for the payment.
