Downgrading from wealth ??

I just received mail from ICICI that my account will be downgraded to Privillage if I dont meet DIV

We offer attractive products and services to customers who have a minimum commitment of ₹25 lakh with ICICI Bank, in the form of Deposits and Investments Value (DIV)* at any point of time.

Your Accounts & Investments held with us are below this threshold amount. Please maintain the minimum required balance by Nov 22, 2023 else we may have to convert your Account to Privilege Banking as per your current DIV. This calls for a Minimum Average Balance (MAB) of ₹25,000, failing which, MAB charges will be applicable. The MAB charge details are available at

It was salary account opened in 2010, and dont know since when it was converted in to WM, I never cared before finding about WM in this forum

Same here. My salary account from 2007. I used to maintain a good deposit balance (not 25 lakhs though) till recently. Only thing i like about this is I can talk to customer care with very little or no wait time.

Anyone knows if there is a minimum salary requirements for WB account?

I have "not" got any email regarding down grade.

I have also received mail today only...this is ridiculous...3 years back they upgraded my account to wealth account without asking for the same. And after 3 year now they realised that I m not maintaining 25 lakh. If account gets downgrade to privilege account... definitely I will withdraw all the cash ...and will deposit to IDFC 😝

Same.. same.. I also didn't asked to upgrade.. I was happy with zero balance privilege

Yes...zero balance gold account was offered to me...being govt officer with initial deposit of 25K in 2016.

Understood.. They are different banks , different customer service experience.. Just now talked to ICICI CC about Emeralde cards, I was connected instantly... Even SBI cares about customer's waiting time but shit icici
