I have Amazon Prime Shopping edition and hold a Apay ICICI card. My friend wants to order a phone from his non-prime amazon account and my Apay ICICI card, will the card fetch 5% cashback since card holder's account is prime subscribed?

If ur apay card is linked account with prime subscibed then u will get 5% definitely, either u use the card on prime subscibed or on unsubscribed account .

as @pinki said, amzn and apay cc should linked to prime account to get 5%. then its upto you which account you'll use that card, 5% credited to linked account.
linked account prime sub is important here.
also, do note: frequent usage on multiple accounts using this card may block permanently. do at your own risk.

My card is sitting idle for several months, I don't use it in multiple accounts. Today Amazon shows offer for all bank cards, so tried it and this doubt arised.
Sure, when I entered my Apay ICICI card in non-prime amazon account, it didn't show 5% cashback. But in my account it showed extra.
Its the amazon app functionality, that if any apay card is linked, it shows additional 5% , but if not , it doesn't show.
But lastly it doesn't matter.
