Hi TF folks,
Need some help figuring out what’s going on with the Scapia–Federal Bank card approvals.
I applied for this card recently on behalf of a friend with:
Still, it got declined. The reason:
This didn’t make much sense, so I tried experimenting further with two more friends (just to test the waters):
All applications were:
I’ve even tried applying for myself twice before:
I also:
Has anyone here actually gotten approved recently?
What income range, profile, or other detail** finally worked for you?
Would really appreciate any insights — just trying to crack what exactly they’re looking for here.
This time I want to apply but dont want to get rejected.
Thanks in advance!

Need some help figuring out what’s going on with the Scapia–Federal Bank card approvals.
I applied for this card recently on behalf of a friend with:
- CIBIL score: 777
 - Monthly income: ₹1.6 lakh (salaried)
 - 2+ years credit age, holding credit cards with decent limits

Still, it got declined. The reason:
"Your income does not meet the criteria required by the bank's co-branded card policy."
This didn’t make much sense, so I tried experimenting further with two more friends (just to test the waters):
- Friend 2: ₹75,000/month → Rejected
 - Friend 3: ₹1.05 lakh/month → Also rejected
 - Tried different employment types (healthcare, engineering, govt. service) — same result.

All applications were:
- Salaried
 - CIBIL scores above 760
 - From serviceable PIN codes
 - With clean credit histories

I’ve even tried applying for myself twice before:
- In Dec 2024, I was shown a limit, but at the VKYC stage it said, “no offer available right now come back later".
 - Tried again in May 2025 — same vague rejection: “as per internal criteria.”

I also:
- Emailed support — no response
 - Called customer care — they refused to disclose any eligibility criteria

So my question:
Has anyone here actually gotten approved recently?
What income range, profile, or other detail** finally worked for you?
Would really appreciate any insights — just trying to crack what exactly they’re looking for here.
This time I want to apply but dont want to get rejected.
