Its not just airtel rupay but every card even airtel mastercard is showing as credit card now. Seems like they patched it. Trick is over for everyone.

Yes, I successfully request from calling to customer care and they take requests instantly and shown the virtual card in app. But I want to confirm that it is chargable

Yes bro, now it's possible. My post was back in january 2025 😅 that time it wasn't possible.

Yes, it will be chargeable since they will close your old variant completely and new credit card will be issued (rupay network)

Last month cc utility bill cb not credited for airtel axis cc. This cb was for the mastercard variant after converting to rupay. ( The card was active for 45 days after closure ) airtel thanks was allowing only mc variant and cc told u will get the cb since it will be active for 45 days.
Has anyone faced similar issue ?
Every month, before 3 days of bill generation ,cb would have been credited.

That means 10% or 25% cashback should be available on all other categories of UPI transactions as well.

Great news – Here one guy got 10% cashback on utility payments using Airtel Axis RuPay Credit Card via UPI on the Airtel Thanks app (payment was done through Phonepe linked Airtel Axis RuPay Credit Card UPI on Airtel Thanks app).

No conv fee charged via 3rd party UPI app

Note – As discussed in some groups, the bank’s credit card software doesn’t yet have complete data for new cards, new networks or UPI network transactions. That’s why, after escalating the complaint to Axis’s PNO, they manually gave 10% cashback for the UPI transaction. As more and more people start transacting, the data will be collected and updated in the bank’s credit card software and from next time onwards cashback will start coming automatically.

I thought There Wont Be Any Usage Fee On UPI Payment Via Rupay CC

but airtel is charging same Usage Fee On Both way Of Doing Recharges !!!

I tried this for utility payments via airtel thanks app but i haven’t received the cashback for the same

After escalating to PNO I got a confirmation that I will receive the cashback infact they are considering these transactions as airtel mobile recharge but they were electricity bills
