If you account scheme is in Salary varient. You can apply for the eligible card according to your salary

na bhai sb kuch saal me ek baar milega sbi me. mere pas ek wealth hai ek rupay platinum select hai, dono me same dard hai. PNB aur CBI ke hain usme OTT ko chorke sb quarterly vale hain benefits. Plus abhi CBI vale me bhi likha aaya hai message ki jo lounge access hai vo avail karne ke liye 5000 spends hone chahiye last quarter me. So ab free lounge access debit card pe to khatam hi ho gaye hain.

SBI staff do not have any knowledge about debit cards variants, their features and benefits. They simply select the default card displayed for your account type, I think.

Same happened with me. They applied for a wrong DC variant inspite of telling them repeatedly and writing the full name of the DC I wanted on the top of the application. When I found through app that they have applied for the wrong card, I took up the matter with them. They asked me to block the card. After blocking, they applied for the DC variant I wanted. You have to tell them the DC variant code. Otherwise, they do whatever they feel is right.

Meet the branch staff and tell them that you got the wrong DC variant. They will ask you to block it. Tell them the code for the DC variant you require. Only then they will apply correctly.

This is the old JCB card and its code is RPJ, You have to mention the correct code with name. Block the card and visit branch again and apply & tell them the Code RPP.
