If you have the means, get a standing desk, long straight sitting on any kind of chair is bad for your body...
Regarding chairs, I look for 3 things:
1. Whether it is full back or half back - Full back (Plus headrest if available) is better for longer hours.
2. Whether it has recline adjustment or not - Height adjustment almost every chair has, but recline adjustment is something really, I mean, really godsent for relaxed work where one doesn't need complete 90 degree to the screen.
3. This is an add on, if you can get - A footrest. Whether it is part of the chair, well and good, otherwise get separately.
I use these for reference... You should be able to get it in the range of about 6-7K INR.

I agree with all points. Some additional things to take care
1. If you are tall some head rests can lead to neck pain if they are not height adjustable..So check that as well. Personally I prefer chair without headrest.
2. There are arm rests which are also height adjustable which is a boon for computer work especially if you have a external keyboard attached to your laptop.
3. Top of arm rests should be soft. Some local manufactures use hard plastic which pains when sitting for long hours.
4. Fabric chairs are preferred especially for hot and humid regions.

I have been doing office work for last 25 years, about 8-9 hrs a day. All my office chairs had headrest. But I do not even remember if I ever used the headrest part. For me, it has always been the back support that was most essential. I do have the habit of standing up and walk for 2-3 minutes after about every 80-90 mins.
Chairs with height adjustable handrest is better, as they help keep the hands parallel to the table height. But those are normally available only in above 10K price range.
It will go an until Diwali ( ie. for about 4 to 5 weeks) in several phases with 1 or 2 days gap between the phases.. with various names.
Flipkart has refunded as well for me. Once for grocery which I saw later after delivery, they refunded without return. Another non returnable item was slightly damaged, they were offering me replacement but it was a good deal so I agreed upon some compensation. At the end the account holder's track record matters.
It seems the first phase of sale is ending tomorrow ie 02/10..

Yes, Plus members also get it.. but eventually they might retire plus members and only the Black remains..
I dont care if it is Black, blue , green etc,... as long as it gives benefits I am fine ... 😉
