For the past 1 month
Closed one of my Axis cc (was holding - 3 cc) to get Supercard Pro - No luck - still waiting
Applied for SBI Cashback and got rejected
Applied for IDFC HP POWER cc and got rejected
Applied for ICICI HPCL cc and got rejected

Thought my new CC days are over - holding 15+ cc in total

To my SURPRISE got approved for HDFC PHONEPE ULTIMA 😎

Search for it hdfc site or Google. Open HDFC page and try applying. It will direct to PhonePe app. Hopefully you will be able to apply. For me, it worked for whatever reason.

AFAIK we can't add cc in MYCARDS without the last 4 digits
Can't set PIN without last 6 digits for UPI

I am happy that I got the approval, because I haven't applied for any CC in the last 14/15 months...like proper from the scratch application...(ie. Not the pre approved cards)..

So tested my over over leverage situation successfully...

need to tidy up my portfolio...
recently closed two amex cards PT and Gold.. still more cleanup is there...

I had no enquiries in 18 months till Aug, and since Aug till now 4 enquiries. Need to have hard stop now at-least till mid off 2026 lol

We cannot set PIN even i u manage to get last 6 digits since it requires Expiry Date & CVV as additional input - tried from MyCards, HDFC MB, etc.

Also trick to get last 4 digit - try linking your Card for any UPI app, you will get SMS about Linking request initiated which will mention last 4 digits.
Use that to add your card to MY CARDS app then 😎

Correct. My trick was only for those who can't wait to see the card getting auto added to My Cards !!

the password is: your first name in capital letters ( may be first 4 letters or full first name) + DDMM of your birthday

The pricing section is blank for me too. Now, in the app if I see, the waiver criteria is showing 2L. will get it confirmed once I receive the card. I had recorded a video while applying the card to keep the proof of the annual waiver.

Received the card. Paid utility bill. However phonepe is charging ~ 1% as convenience + platform fee. But still worth it.

@SSV I was exactly in same boat + hassles of routing transactions on Amex, resulted missing out on CB/RP on other cards..... and all this with 5900 fees wasnt making much sense. + No waiver offer => Closed!
