My second & third thread delayed by one week due to fever (health issue) but as promised here i am able to share the Second thread “Central Bank of India VKYC Scam” from my Part-2 Series…

Someone told me that the CBI general account can be opened online with vkyc. So one day in 2025 I opened a CBI general savings account (2k) online because I wanted rupay select debit card.

Then I filled all details online & submit application & waiting for vkyc agent…But screen showing waiting 15 minutes while connected to a agent..
So I waited 15 minutes but when 50 seconds left to connect to agent, then again screen showing waiting 15 minutes while connected to a agent..

Same thing happened again & again till 4 hours..
I am shocked because that is Monday, it’s working day…so i waited, than after 4 hours I connected to a lady agent which was smiling for 5 seconds in front of me then do vkyc asking some personal details, Then said to me that the branch I selected was not shown in his list.

Then i said “ it’s not possible, please check again”, so she checked & said we can’t open your account because that branch you select not showing in my list, please visit your nearest branch to open your account & cut the call.

I angry very much because i waited more than 4 hours to open account. So I immediately do vkyc again…but this time I connected to a different lady agent in approximately in 1 hours. Same process done as with previous agent but this time,this lady done my vkyc successfully & asked me to visit your home branch to take passbook & atm….now i am happy that day because I received account opening message also which containing account number & all details.

But I wanted to take the rsdc card, which i wanted to apply it from cbi mobile application because I don’t trust psu employee anymore, so for activation of mobile app I visited my home branch for “token based mobile app activation”. I successfully access mobile application & deposit 2k immediately to cbi account by upi & then applied card immediately in branch itself from app. Card was also successfully applied so i comes to home.


Now next day i see issuance fees was not deducted yet. So i tried to do transaction from cbi app to check whether transaction was doing or not. Surprisingly transaction are failed from application. So I add cbi account to phonepe app through adhar process to check whether upi transaction happening or not, But Again transaction not happening with upi also, So now i have only one option left to visit branch.

Next day I visited branch again & tell them everything then one employee said “sir aapne account kab open karwaya yaha se, apko toh mai yaha pehli baar dekh raha hun

Then i said “sir account mene online open kiya tha, vkyc ho chuka hai but transaction ni ho raha hai account se”. Then he replied “apne account online kyu khola, sab branch se hi hota hai, hume kya pata apke baare mai, na hi apke hamare pass koi information hai or na hi koi document jama hai or na hi koi kyc hai hamare branch mai, apko fresh account opening form bharna padega, uske baad apka address verification hoga, hum apke ghar par ayenge ek photo lenge apke sath & apke ghar ki, fir apka account chalu hoga

Now i am frustrated & helpless so i filled offline form & asked him to do all process to activate my account. But he replied “ sir aap form submit kar ke jama kar dijiye, apka address verification karne humare employee apke ghar ayenge, call kar lenge, abhi aap jaiye apke end se ab koi kam ni

Then i replied , “sir mere sath hi bhej dijiye kisi Employee ko sath mai, address verification karwa denge”, Then he said, “ abhi koi Employee free ni hai, office hour chal raha hai, 4 baje ke baad hum apko call karenge apke address par pahunchkar”.

After that i asked that Employee his mobile number, but he refused to give & said sir hum kisi ko apna number share ni karte. Then i said “sir esa thodi hota hai, agar aap ni aaye m, ya bhool gaye ki verification karna hai toh mai apko call toh kar lunga”. Then after forcing he gives his mobile number, then I returned to my home that day.


But that day no one comes to my come for address verification till 5 pm so i called him but he was not picking my call that day. I called four times that day.

So next day again i called him, this time he picked my call in second attempt. Then i said “sir kal aap ni aaye or na hi mera call utha rahe, aapka wait kar raha hun kal se, aa jaiye please”. Then he replied, “ kon bol raha hai” , Then i explain everything, then he said “ohh haa kal jyda kaam aa gaya tha isliye aa nahi paya, aaj saam tak aunga”& cut the call.


So i waited whole day but no one comes, now my BP high so i immediately calls him but again he was not picking my calls. So nothing happened from two days.

Next day again i called him & said “ aap ni aaye sir apka wait kar raha tha mai, mera account activate karwa dijiye bhale hi aap mat aaiye agar apko time ni mil raha, mereko payment lena hai account mai urgent hai please

Then he replied, “ are sir kya batau kal BM ne dusre kaam se or kahi bhej diya isliye nahi aa paya, aaj pakka aaunga” & cuts the call.
Then i said “ma c***ye tumau kaam or tumae BM, agar aaj tu ni aaya, toh kal mai aayunga branch teri ma ch****, samja mc” & I cut the call.

Then he immediately called me, & said “ sir aap ese gaali ni de sakte, mai aa toh raha hun, 2 din se thoda busy tha isliye ni aa paya, please don’t abuse me”. Then I replied “ maka b*** tera, kya samaj rakha hai, 2 din se tere se achhe se baat kar raha hun toh mereko chu*** samaj raha hai mc, jyda bakwas mat kar, agar aaj ni aaya phir batata hun , kal mai aaunga”. & cuts the call.

Then on same day, he & one more Employee comes at my home & done address verification by taking selfie with me & take picture of my home and said “ sir aap toh naraz ho rahe faltu mai, aaj apka account chalu ho jayega, agar koi dikkat aaye toh call karna

Then i said “ tera bank bhadwa hai , kon karta hai address verification for account opening, konse jamane mai jee raha tera bank” . Then he replied, “sir ye bank rules hai, isme hum kuch ni kar sakte, humko training mai bhi yahi sikhaya jata hai”.Then he leaves my home & after 1 hour my account activated & transaction working from application & upi also working.

Then next day rsdc issuance fee automatically deducted from my account & within 15 days my debit card was delivered to my address.


NOTE:- No Violence happened & no one harmed in activation of my central bank account…

Then i said “ it’s not possible, please check again”, so she checked & said we can’t open your account because that branch you select not showing in my list, please visit your nearest branch to open your account & cut the call.

I angry very much because i waited more than 4 hours to open account. So I immediately do vkyc again…but this time I connected to a different lady agent in approximately in 1 hours. Same process done as with previous agent but this time,this lady done my vkyc successfully & asked me to visit your home branch to take passbook & atm….now i am happy that day because I received account opening message also which containing account number & all details.

But I wanted to take the rsdc card, which i wanted to apply it from cbi mobile application because I don’t trust psu employee anymore, so for activation of mobile app I visited my home branch for “token based mobile app activation”. Now i am frustrated & helpless so i filled offline form & asked him to do all process to activate my account. But he replied “ sir aap form submit kar ke jama kar dijiye, apka address verification karne humare employee apke ghar ayenge, call kar lenge, abhi aap jaiye apke end se ab koi kam ni

Then i replied , “sir mere sath hi bhej dijiye kisi Employee ko sath mai, address verification karwa denge”, Then he said, “ abhi koi Employee free ni hai, office hour chal raha hai, 4 baje ke baad hum apko call karenge apke address par pahunchkar”.

Then next day rsdc issuance fee automatically deducted from my account & within 15 days my debit card was delivered to my address.


NOTE:- No Violence happened & no one harmed in activation of my central bank account…

Whatever he said related to visiting physical KYC, yes it's mandate after the recent frauds that happened in the bank.
Moreover they will send you a letter at your home and that has to be submitted to the branch ( that is also part of the kyc )
Lastly your upi will only work when they will upload your bank application form in their system

Seems like you are a cbi employee.
 
Points to be noted.
  1. Bank needs to deploy more personnel for VKYC, so customers need not waste 4 hours of their valuable time.
  2. Online vs offline account happening at all PSU banks. SBI, BOB, Canara are better they will request to use app and not to visit branch (transactions only).
  3. Home verification is not mandatory for a savings account, customers are only depositing the money and most of the accounts are opened online these days.

Points to be noted.
  1. Bank needs to deploy more personnel for VKYC, so customers need not waste 4 hours of their valuable time.
  2. Online vs offline account happening at all PSU banks, SBI, BOB, Canara are better they will request to use app and not to visit branch (transactions only).

Rules and regulations har bank ka alag alag hota hai but employees utna dhyaan nahi dete , sharifi se pesh aao koi dikkat nahi hoga .
 
Aise hi scam/stories dalte raho.. kya nhi krna h pta chalte rhega.. Ab mai branch ja k Central Bank ka account open krwaunga
 
This is completely BS
No matter what, abusing someone like this aint justified

U can submit a formal complaint and other things, there is a way to do certain things of this sort

Even if the bank employee is slacking in his work, a simple formal complaint to branch manager and their higher ups will do the job

Verbal abuse and banter is not required for such things, don’t take inspiration from such incidents guys, follow protocol and be respectful to everyone
