Two days back I paid an insurance premium (LIC) and got 10%.

I purchased gold offline with this card through swipe method and got 1% reward points on the transaction. Great card so far but I think devaluation might come soon especially in sale discount and gold but we can enjoy until it comes.

what was your net cb% after excluding convenience fee, platform fee and other charges?

IF insurance is getting excluded, I might not solve for over-leverage and move over to hdfc ultimo

I was going to say the same. Insurance and jwellary are 2 distinct features, and one will follow the other in series of devaluation. Uske baad Ultimo becomes similar or more attractive than this overleveraged overhyped card

I still see same old TnC & nothing like this on the official document.

Ignore them. Kuch aise bhi log hai jinko sbi cb card & sbi phonepe cc me jindegi me kabhi 10% or 5% cb nahi milta hai, unlogo k liye saalo pahele devalue ho chuka hai yeh card. 🤣🤣

Payment has to be via PhonePe. Doesn’t matter where you bought from

What is phonepe doing i can't understand

So here is the thing for electricity bill payment via UPI or OTP method by SBI Phonepe CC on Phonepe platform.

1 -> Bill Amount: 1547

via OTP:
bill amount 1547
Platform fee 3
Convenience fee 13.3
total: 1563.3


via UPI:
bill amount 1547
Platform fee 3
Convenience fee 32.48
total: 1582.48


2 -> Bill Amount: 1993

via OTP:
bill amount 1993
Platform fee 3
Convenience fee 17.13
total: 2013.13


via UPI:
bill amount 1993
Platform fee 3
Convenience fee 41.85
total: 2037.85

So OTP method wins here.

They are charging above 2% for both upi and otp and there is no platform fee only convenience fee but at 2.1%
