The feeling is great to have LTF Axis Card and then to surrender. I have till now spent an astronomical amount of Rs 100 in my LTF Privilege Amex in last 3 months.

My spends also were only 100 which was made just for activation.

Privilege Amex is so special it merited a thread of its own here. See the number of pages. Actually after getting DCB ,other cards are lying redundant except SBI Cashback, few fuel cards and Pioneer Heritage Metal which I used extensively during recent overseas travel. Plus overleverage is again an issue. So finally decided to let go of Privilege to keep one Axis slot free for future and check for any better options. Still having Airtel paid and IOCL LTF cards from Axis.

Amex Privilege is very useful ayleast for the Rs 150 off offer in swiggy. Already saved 150 X 5= Rs.750 in last 5 months using this card on swiggy instamart

Axis does not want to close my Privilege Amex. The 1st attempt resulted in system failure. In the 2nd attempt, they are offering 2500 Edge Rewards in lieu of card closure request cancellation 😀

Best way to close axis credit card is via chat support. They won't ask too many questions and will forward closure request. Will receive a call after 1 day, just say don't need card and don't need any outstanding reward points if available. It will be closed soon.

Good idea but I feel bad for them. So will continue with this greatest ever mid segment card with 49 pages on TF.

It's my accidental lucky charm...I applied this card 4 years back by mistake... earned the welcome reward points...then joining fee was reversed automatically...then earned points worth 30-40k without much effort....till date haven't paid any fee for this paid card. 😛

I've been thinking to make a thread on journey of this card...but meh...I'm too lazy to do it. 😜🤣
