I know, mujhe majboori me lena pada, nehi to faltu mei cibil enquiry waste hota. Koi nehi mil gaya wohi kafi hai

So… everyone these days is running behind the LTF Eterna.
But honestly, I had zero interest in that. I just wanted a simple LTF card mainly for instant bank discounts. Never cared enough to apply.
Then one random day, I saw a post saying BOB Easy Card is LTF till 31/12/2025.
Checked their website and confirmed the offer , thought “chalo apply kar lete hain.”

But the real story starts here…

Tried multiple times on the BOB official site, kept getting errors.
It kept saying “wait for some time”.
Called customer care but no solution.

Finally, I somehow landed on CashKaro.
Clicked the BOB cashback card link and this time it worked.

I expected that after verification they would show me a list of cards (Easy / Select / etc.).
But nope, since I clicked through the CashKaro cashback link, it forced me into only the BOB Cashback Card (which is paid).

Didn’t want to waste the hard enquiry so I just took it.
Still annoyed about that part.

The Application Process

Surprisingly smooth. Zero documentation. Fully CIBIL-based.

Mobile & Email Verification

Enter mobile → OTP
Enter email → continue

Basic Details
Name, PAN, DOB, PIN code
PAN gets auto-verified through NSDL.

Aadhaar / Digilocker Verification
Login → allow Aadhaar → address auto-fills.

Employment Details
Marital status, mother’s name, job type, company name, income, office address.

Card Selection
BOB checks CIBIL → shows eligible card.

For me, only the Cashback Card showed up (because of CashKaro link).

Got ₹1L limit.

Name on Card, Proceed

Video KYC
Agent asked basic details, took photo, PAN photo, signature on white paper.


E-Sign the Form
Swipe to sign, done.


The “Weird” Part

After KYC, I got only ONE SMS:

“Thank you for submitting your BOBCARD application…”

No application ID.
No email.
No tracking link.
Nothing.
Tried tracking on the website → “No application found.”
Thought maybe it got stuck…

Then next day around 5 PM:
“Welcome to the BOBCARD family! Your card xxxx is on the way…”

So basically → Card approved without even showing the application status anywhere.

Installed the BOBCARD app → entered DOB + last 4 digits → logged in → virtual card activated instantly.


✘ No application number
✘ No email updates
✘ Status page always shows “no application found”
✘ Link decides which card you get
✘ Old site used to offer C2C and upload options, new site doesn’t

Even though I have a BOB savings account, the system didn’t consider that.

Looks like the new system is purely CIBIL and Aadhaar-based approval.
