Paying to builder for flat booking .. which cc will give max reward with 0 or lowest fees ?

Hi Experts,

I am planning to book 1 flat in Bangalore , it is Tier-1 Builder of Bangalore and accept payment via CC with no extra charges. which cc will give max reward with 0 or lowest fees ?

Builders MCC might be that of "Rent".
I paid to M3M and incurred a 1% rent surcharge.

Mcc of rent will be for online platforms

While paying builders always enquire about their MCC. If they don't know make a random swipe for a small amount and get the MCC clarified from customer care after the transaction is settled.

As for the card it depends on what you have. But the most rewarding would be the super premium cards such as Magnus or Infinia or Amex Platinum Charge.

mostly the MCC is of Rent I guess .. which card doesn't have surcharge for rent as of now and gives RP ? for Infinia and DCB I think no reward points and 0 charges for 1st transaction of a month.

Even if there is a surcharge go for it because your annual milestone would be achieved and if magnus devaluation happened then it is much required

Rent will be excluded from annual and monthly milestone right ?

SBI cards give reward points on rent payments I guess... They charge a fixed amount (Rs.99 or 199) per rent payment.

I think Rent is excluded also max Reward point in magnus per transaction is 1500 i.e upto 50,000 and they charge 1% fee + gst .. max fee is 1500 .. so what i get is just 1500 points with max 1500 fee . .not a good deal

I checked TnC .. it is clearly mentioned for mangus Rentals are excluded ..

In that case your best option would be SBI Vistara Prime if you travel by airlines frequently. You will get all sorts of Vistara goodies if you spend 8L on the card. However it is notoriously difficult to obtain.

Through redgiraffe payzapp it counts upto 1lac per month as it comes under insurance mcc. Otherwise rent is excluded both for rewards and monthly and yearly milestones. You can add to bajaj wallet and transfer to account with utility mcc without any charges through iphone. There's also an arindam video about this also 🤣
