Limit on your card can help define what car you can swipe.

Axis usually has 10L limit

What's your limit on Infinia? If higher go for Infinia and get Thar, it's a good car.

at this point i am confused and i don't know what to do...magnus is still offering me 4.8% with the burgundy account if partners i credit to give me 1:1 value
Pure 5% is also offered by entry level cards (for online)

Firstly restriction on usage of PP in dom - quite distasteful
Secondly no renenwal benefit for users who spend less than 25L
No additional benefit like or increase in niche benefits like increasing Bookmyshow 1+1 offer to 1000/750, no special 1500 discount on eazydiner

The point is do you spend significantly on travel then only i can feel that this makes sense or you make a lot of POS swipes (excluding hotels)

i spend everything on online ad runs on facebook.... i dont have POS swipes or anything and i have a burgundy account i think accor gives me maximum value as 1 accor point is 1:7... infinia gives like 3% value so it is making less sense for me

Very easy, Magnus + Burgundy (meeting the investment criteria) is going to be earning you 50% more points than Infinia on almost all spends. For now.

But even more importantly the thing you have to remember with Infinia/DCB is that the reward rate is absolutely messed up. It's not really 3.3% all the time.

So you could end up getting 100% or better returns on Magnus + Burgundy (meeting criteria). Even Magnus by itself at 2.4% could be getting you better returns than Infinia's claimed 3.3%.

And before people start starting spamming me for that.... look at for instance redeeming with United or many other similar Infinia miles partners.

So Magnus as main + Infinia on specific accelerated spends would be my strategy.

Infinia is good only for ticket or hotel booking but they add 300 rs service charge in smart buy portal hence further reducing reward ratio
