Hi Team, is there any app which allows QR CODE scanning and pay via regular credit cards (not upi linked cc's)

bhart qr is an option but amex isnt integrated with any apps in india

Can be done only on Bharat Pay QR code.... for more info, please check below detailed post

For scan and pay via Bharat QR,

- HDFC Bank Visa and Mastercard credit cards: Google Pay works
- SBI Card: Google Pay and SBICard app works
- ICICI credit cards: Google Pay and iMobile works
- Axis Bank credit cards: Google Pay works
- Kotak Mahindra credit card: Google Pay and Kotak app works
- RBL Bank Visa and Mastercard credit cards: Google Pay works, although Mastercards don't send OTP sometimes
- IndusInd credit cards: IndusMobile works
- IDFC credit cards: IDFC First app works
- BOB credit cards: Google Pay works - sometimes gives couldn't verify phone number error, no idea how to fix
- OneCard: Google Pay works

Yes Bank credit cards: Currently no way to pay via BharatQR. In old Yes Bank app, Mastercards worked but IRIS app killed it just like new PayZapp

For RuPay credit cards, any UPI QR or Bharat QR both work (as long as merchant has enabled UPI CC QR payments)

It depends on the QR code.

I have added both SBI cashback card and Rupay credit card on my Google pay app
On only one particular merchant do I get the chance to use SBI cashback card.

for all the other merchants I can only use rupay card or bank account. SBI cashback card is not seen as an option to pay.

Bruhh. That's not because of mcc but the qr on which you gets credit card option is BharatQR (don't confuse with BharatPe) which allows transaction with cc,upi etc.

it is possible using BHARAT QR Code
But what I noticed is even all BharatQR codes do not work for VISA/MC CCs

My father has HDFC BHARATQR and I tested almost all the cards, All VISA cards work seamlessly and MC cards do not work sometimes(OTP issue)

Since bharatqr is mandated merchant accounts only ideally it should work for all cards

Is your MB on MasterCard? I read somewhere that mastercard has issues when adding to gpay and doesn't get added.

Yes. MB mastercard cannot be added to Gpay. I also tried but failed. Visa cards work better

My MB is also on MasterCard. I don't use gpay at all as of now, but could be a good option.

Paytm supports paying BharatPe QR via Visa credit cards (not rupay)? When did this happen? I was under impression that only Gpay supports this method

It does not work on any QR.. only works on BharatQR. Very few merchants have BharatQR codes (practically NIL)

Even with bharatQR, as of now there is no way to use MB
