Rent payment counted for milestone post devaluation? SBI Club Vistara

Hi All, we don't get reward points on SBI vistara cards on rent payment post devaluation. But nothing has been said about milestone benefit right and therefore rent payment should count towards milestone benefit tickets on SBI vistara cards, is that correct? Thanks!

Do you mean rent payment with MCC education? How to do that can you pls explain?

I am using redgiraffe for rent payment and not getting points. But hopefully these are eligible for milestone benefit.

Use housing com and pay education fees to any upi id/bank account

Charges are little higher than redgiraffe but u are getting RPs along with milestones

Correct mcc is used by them. No rent surcharge was levied and got 1% in cashback cards and RPs for SBI cards.

Aaah nice, I'll use my IDFC Vistara card then, hopefully will not get any surcharge for the transaction, will report here.

I tried, they blocked my account saying "suspicious activity" detected, tried a friend's account as well, same happened there. They're not unblocking or providing any reasons on mail or call helpline.

I just tried the payment again on Housing, suddenly the account seems to be working fine, made a genuine education payment of 1.8L and checked with IDFC about the MCC, they confirmed it was 8299 which is under Education, so I'll get the CV points as per normal spends. 😍

I mean what narration will the landlord/received receive on their bank statement...... is it something like UPI credit or Education payment or Credit, etc etc.

Hey, let’s say someone has rent of 30k, can we split it into 20k and 10k on red giraffe to avoid rental agreement ?
