Tax Payment Credit Card for 25 Lac+

Can anyone suggest a premium card that offers good milestone benefit on tax payment of 25 Lacs+. Already used HDFC Biz black for 20 Lacs+ so reward rates are decreasing, Kotak is banned to onboard new customer as per RBI ban so exclude Kotak White. Any other card that has 2%+ milestone benefit on such 25-30 Lacs+ tax payment?

Currently using for Tax payment
HDFC Biz Black (Regular RP+ Milestone both)
Amex Travel Platinum (Milestone available, no regular RP)
HDFC Regalia Gold (Milestone available, no regular RP)

As per MITC:

The Credit Card is issued for personal expenses and purposes only. The Cardholder must not use the Credit Card to purchase anything for resale, for commercial or business purposes to derive any financial gains. The Credit Card should be used only for lawful, bona fide personal purposes and must not be used for any money laundering, anti-social or speculative activities or must not be exploited commercially in business (e.g. for working capital purposes).

Bank has the right to block a Credit Card if transactions are observed on restricted MCC codes as per the RBI mandate.

To ensure that the Credit Card is being used as per the regulatory guidelines, Terms and Conditions and applicable policies of the Bank, Bank shall have a right to run periodic checks on the Credit Card usage to identify whether there is excessive utilization of credit limit beyond the sanctioned limit in one statement cycle, unusual or excessive utilization at few select merchants, to make repayment of another Credit Card /loans, m transfer funds to savings account, possible collusion with merchant and/or usage
m towards non-personal/ business related requirements, over-use/ misuse of features/ offers/ programs towards accumulation of undue reward points/ cash back / other benefits amongst others.

Its better to apply two more DCB rather worrying about future issues while redemption.

HDFC biz black is better than Kotak white as it continues to give 3.3% reward. Keep using that only instead of searching for a new card. Amex Platinum travel is also good upto 4l spends if required

I know it. Few years back my Amazon Pay ICICI card blocked just because I used for 5-6 Lacs purchase in Amazon business account. Mine was always Amazon business account, nothing wrong using Amazon business account to purchase household stuffs, still they blocked, so never applied that Apay ICICI after that incident.

In the above post, tax payment won't violate that norms.

25lac+ is according to you personal spends and won't violate the rules?

apay card is for personal usage and strictly for normal spends. If you really spend those 5-6 Lacs for personal then you definitely can fight for it.

But everymonth 5-6 Lacs is not personal that too especially when using business account and claiming gst.

25 Lacs+ even if you use any personal card, let me know if it didn't block. Amex definitely will send FR and block the card. Axis altogether block rewards too.

business spends usually means high value business spends done for running the business of your own or where you’re employed in.

25 Lac+ tax payment for "personal" means, you're getting around 80 Lac+ income annually, if you can show the proof then as mentioned you can safely use the card.

My suggestion, stick with that DCB because that is the purpose of the card "to pay business spends". Personal cards always trouble you.

25 Lacs+ is for personal tax payment and already paid similar volume in earlier instances combined from HDFC Biz Black, Regalia Gold & Amex, no issues nowhere.

For that Amazon Pay ICICI card, that 5-6 Lacs was not business spends rather for purchasing household stuffs like TV, AC, mobile etc each for 1 qty. Their executive agreed that purchasing those stuffs each quantity may not be a business spend but their logic was as I am using Amazon business account, getting GST invoice so the card is blocked. The only solution was to use Amazon personal account. I said enough, don't have time to extend/escalate this matter, more than I will miss ICICI, you guys lost a good customer. That was in 2022 & then never re-applied but fetching better discounts from Amazon purchase each time.

Yes, Vistara branded cards are good option but with the upcoming merger of points & rewards with Air India, I am in wait & watch mode

They've already clarified that current co-branded cards will work uptill 31-Mar-2026

25 Lacs+ is for personal tax payment and already paid similar volume in earlier instances combined from HDFC Biz Black, Regalia Gold & Amex, no issues nowhere.

As long as you convinced this, then can't tell anything else. As mentioned if you're earning 80 Lacs+ and able to show proofs then no issues. But again, do at your own risk anything can affect those rewards anytime, be prepared because its not personal spends when the time comes.

Bro, I asked for diners black to the branch nearest to me, he said biz black is approved very easily, I told him I am salaried, he said don't worry biz black mol jaayega. Then I told him I have personal spends and not business so would not be legal, then he said he approved biz black of mostly salaries people and they have been using it with no issues so gar

I have current account with my company name in HDFC and also saving ac, one day got a message of pre approved Biz black so got it.
