After the devaluation of all banks, including ICICI, HDFC, and Axis, it seems the golden days of credit cards are over.

We used to get 5% cashback on Amazon Pay gift card purchases with SBI cashback and HDFC Swiggy card. However, Amazon has put the last nail in the coffin by changing the MCC code.

Soon, we will only get a 50-day credit period and nothing else. Finfluencers and YouTubers sharing tricks to misuse credit cards are responsible.

No cashback on buying gift card from SBI Cashback and HDFC swiggy card, wherever you buy.

I was using Amazon to buy gift card as Amazon was using Shopping MCC for gift card purchase

I just now tried and it sends Amazon.in as merchant name and not Amazon Gift card mumbai.

Using Amazon pay icici card to buy Amazon gift card gives 2% na? Or, is the OP talking about 5% cashback only?
