I'm considering opening a Fixed Deposit FD with Unity Small Finance Bank and wanted to get some insights if anyone has experience with this bank, particularly with their FD schemes.

If your objective is only FD, most of the banks - including Unity offer - Digital FD opening & you need not go to bank for any of their services. Considering that this is Small Finance Bank - ensure that the final amount on maturity is less than 5L (there is Govt insurance for all deposits up to 5L & you need not worry about your money - even if the bank gets shut down.
You really need not to this much research on "experience with the bank" if your target is only for FDs.

You can open Unity SFB fd online using Wint Wealth app. (I have not tried)
They don't have any online presence as of now. (They have an app on play store but not able to register and login from last 1 year)
Family member has a savings account and +5L total in FDs.
Visited branch first time only, then executive come every time to renew fd and giving fd receipt.
FD rates are best in the market.

now SEBI banned part of their operations
why is that?
Did you find any solution? I also paid for fd and account online but there are no agents available for vkyc.
Transferred funds online from a pvt bank to Unity. Everything else sb a/c, fd etc was done offline.
Got debit card and cheque book after a week or so, IIRC.

Can open upto 5L (safe) through any intermediary like wint wealth, airtel, stack money.

I opened savings+fd account yesterday.Fd was of 1000rs.fd amount was showing yestersay on the app but today no fd is showing on the app.Customer care had no clue.Had anyone same issue before?

Maybe wait for 1-2 days and then ask the bank again. Maybe if there is any error then the amount would be refunded.

1st FD which was created is no more , but yesterday they created a new fd with same amount.
I am trying to break the fd and change the tenure, but it is showing 'cannot perform liquidation'.
Any help?

Haven't come across this.. can consult cs. On another hand, can make new FD to be easy

also, not received physical debit card till now but cheque book was delivered in 3days.
