What is the MCC of Eazypay ICICI Bank Valsad Collection?

HI, i have a home loan through ICICI bank. Somehow I am seeing an option to pay part payment through credit card. On entering sbi cashback card this merchant names. I want to know what is the MCC for this merchant, (I cannot do test payment, The payment amount should be greater than the EMI amount)
If SBI card is not the best card, which card is the best card to make payment of 1 lakh?

1. IDFC Wealth
2. SBI cashback
3. Amazon ICICI / Normal ICICI
4. Axis myzone
5. Induslnd legend
6. Kotak Signature
7. Diners (but it is not accepting)
8. HDFC tata neu infinity

No, i did not. Payment with infinia failed

I am also on the same boat, when I pay with Infinia it gets declined with the below error code. However, I was able to make the payment with ICICI AmazonPay card without issues. I wonder if they accept only ICICI credit cards? ICICI AmazonPay should ideally give 1% rewards. Will confirm in couple of days.

The transaction was declined as it was invalid or not enabled for the merchant.

Transaction went through with SBI Cashback card as well. I have no hopes for getting the 5% cashback though 😅, but will definitely report back. Would've been nice if Infinia got accepted, not sure what's wrong with that. I wonder if they have specifically excluded it.

So the ICICI AmazonPay transaction posted, and sure enough, I got the 1% rewards.



I've emailed SBI asking what is the MCC for this transaction, awaiting a response. SBI Cashback transaction has not settled yet, it is still showing as In Progress.

Why would the card be blocked? ICICI is very much openly accepting pre-payments with a credit card. I don't see what is wrong with that, this is a genuine transaction.

There is nothing in the terms and conditions which says the card cannot be used for such transactions. @akiratoriyama

Looks like Amazon Pay ICICI is good in that aspect. 1% rewards. Say you want to pre-close a 50L loan, that's 50k extra😆
