What I do not agree is the Mod merging our threads with this thread which was created by a person charged on PP due to incorrect no. of guests entered by Lounge representative. Even if one of the other member's Devaluation threads was kept active, we could had concluded the same over there and it should had been fine. You can't merge a Policy thread and a Lounge Representative Mistake thread into one. And when pointed out, keep doubling down.

Anyways let's close this thread now. In conclusion, HDFC updated their website and Lounge pdf but are giving different details to everyone asking about it. Until we receive an official mail, we should continue to use our PP in India. That's all.

Hey, they haven't updated anything on their website or lounge pdf. Yes, in their updated MITC there's no mention of inside or outside India...it's generic.

I came to know about it from Twitter, checked the HDFC website and the T&C pages to verify and decided to inform the community. Before creating the new thread, I did check if someone else had created a Devaluation thread. I did not find any and hence proceeded.

You mentioned you merged multiple threads, but you did not keep even a single one active which really talked about the PP Devaluation from start. Instead you merged with this thread which was not at all related to Devaluation. Even when multiple members pointed out, you decided to shut them, instead of accepting your mistake. Mistakes happen with everyone but you should not double down on them.

This community has helped me a lot and I am doing the same for it. Not for some BS Temptation.

Hope there are guidelines laid out and being followed for thread merging. Although there could be some duplicate threads but it was evident that a couple of unrelated threads were also merged leading to more confusion.

@vishp this is what op had initially posted as the reason. Same as all other posts. Which is why it was merged in 1st place. So much for "totally unrelated topic."

Later he gave a different reason. Even when some people said this is different, no one quoted this comment.

When there are so many reports, we can't go through 5 whole thread. After a point merging isnt possible. It doesn't seem coherent. At that point, they had to be deleted or taken out of public view. But as we value people's contribution, merging seems like a better option.

No one is out to get you.

@Joh @theXfactor I think there is slight confusion. I meant that previously they had clearly mentioned that PP is complimentary in India. In the current live website and latest t&c pdf, they have removed 'in India' part.

Bangalore T1 arrival m allowed h aise. Waha sirf cooldrink, coffee and cookies milta per boarding pass sabki jarurat nahi.

ekdum khali rehta wo lounge or jakr aaram se recliner per leeto or tv dekho.

April m Care by BLR ko 080 take over karne wala h. Shayad Food options or include honge udhar.

Next best option h Bangalore to Salem ki 700 ki flight book karo or T2 080 m jakr Khake aao 😛😛😛

I have got double confirmation from the BH and ZBH that there is nothing like paid visits using PP of Infinia, as of now. They have informed that the product team has been consulted by them and there is no any confirmation about the discussion of paid PP in domestic lounges.

However, one thing is sure that keeping in view the queries that they have been receiving and the pessimistic approach, the bank can definitely think that they could do so.
