HDFC Credit Limit Enhancement Request.

Hi team,

Recently 4 months back I switched my salary account to HDFC bank. Last month account upgraded to preferred banking and I have linked my wife account to my family banking she also earn 1L net credit and 1.5L net mine. And we made 7L FD. I’m using hdfc regalia gold with 5.85L credit limit Now is there any possibility to increase my credit limit with my Relationship manager. Please note that in last November my CL got increased from bank side without submitting any income proof’s.

Never ever think you can upgrade from moneyback+ card.
It happens in rare cases only. Unless you have a good RM or good luck you will be stuck with moneyback+ for life.

If you have a good relationship with them or you have the ability to negotiate harder, you can upgrade it to milennia or other cards(rare chances). One of my friend had successfully done it 😀

And since he doesn't have any core card, it would be better for him to have atleast one core card

Open an account with them offline with a decent cheque, it will help you build a strong relationship

My approximate timeline with HDFC is like this -

April 2023: Applied and got Neu plus FYF (1.25L)
July 2023: Closed Neu plus permanently.
November 2023: Appplied and got Swiggy (Paid, 1.25L)
September 2024: Credit limit of swiggy increased to 1.52L
October 2024: Applied and got Neu infinity.

During this time I haven't tried for the core card, but give it a try through their link and see what offers are coming for you.

or in layman what's the mab of previous 6 months in HDFC
