Complete Credit Card Reward Redemption Guide (Where & How to Redeem for Most Banks) - For Beginners

Nice work HW :clapping-hands:

Such a pity that most of the banks enforce both redemption fees and points validity expiry. 😥

In an ideal world (wink wink RBI), you should have neither, but in a worst case scenario, keep the expiry but remove the redemption fees, especially for instant vouchers

True and some banks force us to checkout multiple times (not allow stacking multiple vouchers etc.) which charges redemption fee each time. (ex: AU)

So if one wanted to, say, redeem 1500 worth vouchers, but the only denomination is 500, you'd need to pay 118*3 as redemption fees? 😲

If yes, this is an absolute chor b a n k.

Hi, I have 80k points in yes marquee, do you suggest to transfer those to adani one for flight bookings ? I want to book international flight. Is it good reward conversion ?

Good work buddy.

Rather than thread marking I would have preferred individual thread and one master thread connecting all threads.

But, acknowledging the level of information u provide in each of ur past threads I would rather wait and see the finished thread after it is fully completed. Thanks.

Yeah, But this is better
No hassle navigate back and forth to-fro other threads, just use "Threadmarks" button and filter out the bank you want

no, that is not good option.

Adani gives 1 RP = 0.10p (this is also same for statment credit, bill pay etc.), so I suggest avoid.

Best option book directly using YES protal, 1 RP = 0.25p.

For now, I'll use threadmarks ( 🙂 I just want to utilize that option ), if needed will make different threads (based on length of each comment).

Do check and let me know - any changes in existing format, or need some other information to be included in these posts.

got it. was planning for vietnam trip , vietjet has cheapest fares and Im unable to book that via yes rewardz. only indigo is available. 🙁

Very informative posts.

My preference:
Similar to some old best card to pick posts, I would have been happy with a table and bank, redemption fees, website, options as columns.

Cleaner and easy to read that way.
