SBI Premier account or Government account now get RuPay Platinun/Select/Diamond/Gold/Diamond Select/Rhodium Debit Card

Ur friend has two rupay dc in BOB?
Maine uppar he bata diya tumhe.

You can also apply and use multiple RuPay debit cards on BOB.

BOB RuPay Classic,
BOB RuPay Platinum,
BOB RuPay BPCL Platinum,
BOB RuPay EMT Platinum,
BOB RuPay Select.

Note - You can't get multiple cards with the same BIN.

Let's take another interesting example:

Saraswat Bank has officially stated:

"If you are holding a physical RuPay Platinum Debit Card, then you can generate only a Digital Visa Debit Card. On the other hand, if you are holding a physical Visa Debit Card, then a Digital RuPay Platinum Debit Card can be generated."

But guess what ?

Saraswat Bank stopped issuing physical cards using the old RuPay Platinum Debit Card BIN and started issuing physical cards with a new RuPay Platinum Debit Card BIN.

Now, because of this change, people who later applied for the new physical RuPay Platinum Debit Card BIN are also able to apply for the virtual only digital RuPay Platinum Debit Card.

This is because the virtual RuPay Platinum Debit Card still uses the old BIN.

So, in short, since both BINs are different, customers are able to apply and use two RuPay Platinum Debit Cards at the same time. 🤣🤣

So then u cannot have 2 rupay select dc with BOB right? Which is allowed in SBI

If BOB issues 2 different variants of RuPay Select Debit Cards, then you can use 2 cards.

Similarly, in SBI, you cannot use for the same variant of 2 RuPay Select debit card.
Ok but my main query was if any other bank issues 2 rupay select dc that too LTF like SBI does....
With BOB it's still not clear if they give 2 rupay select dc and also if both are LTF....
If some other bank also gives LTF RSDC like sbi then I can approach that bank for getting the RSDC and increasing my portfolio....

Those who successfully got SRW with State/ Central Government Salary Package, please check your Yono and see if it has a "Yono SBI wealth" banner on top of the home screen after login
Went to bank, upgraded account from diamond to platinum. I have option of SRA/SRB/SRW. She was only able to apply for SRW as the system was not allowing SRA&B. Card request was approved from branch side, last 4 digits visible in Yono.
Banner not upgraded to Wealth yet

@Dazzwilliams bcz yours is not CSP variant, hence SRA, SRB not applicable in the system as of now. Yours is CGSP or SGSP?

@SonyTom: Not visible as the SRW gets applied for salary variants, even when the account is not tagged as Wealth category/prgram.

what does "card request approved form branch side" mean exactly?

One of my friends has sgsp platinum. He does not have salary credit of more than 2L (for benefit of newbies, salary credit>2L is one way to get upgraded to wealth). Still his Yono shows SBI wealth banner. Told him to apply for SRW from branch. Or should he wait for the much awaited Rupay Select Government variant? He already has RPJ.

Someone said SRA/B has more benefits than SRW. Can anyone give some more clarity regarding this as to which all rupay select benefits are missing/less in SRW

This above is of SRW screenshot. SO yes the benefits are less in SRW as compared to previous 2 versions.

In yono there's a separate tab for sbi wealth in the left side menu...if u click on that it will be show an error saying u r not wealth client

Thanks @Hemang bro.
So SRW is missing the following benefits:
Travel: ? Uber coupon
Gym access: Cult fit
Food delivery: ? Swiggy / Zomato coupon
Cab services: No idea
