To update the residence address field, you’ll need some kind of ID proof. So whenever in future you have your address updated on any ID card like Aadhar, passport, DL etc then only will the Residence address be updated/changed

Why do you want to update the Residence Address? If your purpose is to update your mailing address, just follow the above steps. Once mailing is updated, all new communications like statements, new cards, letters will come to the new mailing address.
