I went today to my nearest Branch in BLR and opened a USSA3 Salary account. Staff was very good and knowledgeable. They didn't sell me any policies. Filled Application Form, Gave docs, Verified and they opened it. Tie-ups with company are not required. Got Rupay Select DC , Passbook etc.
