In all the FTTH providers that I have availed services from so far, including Airtel's, I did not find anyone's router to be locked when logged in using admin credentials. Did you try the same and yet it was locked?

This is not going to make them change their rules for card issuance. Their bank their rules. At the most RBI can do is, tell SBI cards to be transparent and publish the criterion for over leverage.

My guess is, by "Valid" cards Guinness only checked the Valid Thru/Upto date. His cards might consist of blocked and reissued cards.
