Highly unlikely unless your ITR is way above 36 and they see you as a good potential customer for ICICI. More than account, spends on ICICI cards is needed I feel.
I still have the Emirates Emeralde Co branded card. Had specifically requested not to touch that as I have extensive Emirates travel. They upgraded the Sapphiro LTF to EPM.
Ok just approach BM, they have all the authority. I got it in Bangalore. Just to add I have been spending 10-15 lacs/ year last couple of years with the ICICI cards (specifically with Emirates Emeralde as it gives Emirates Gold Status and Amazon Pay for Amazon). Maybe that is a factor too.
The branch manager specifically said that based on ITR (anyone with more than 36L) and other ICICI card limit (more than 10L) it will be issued in a couple of days. Exactly thats what happened, he said after issuance I can even take the 1L out as it is a zero balance account.
ICICI EPM process:
I had Sapphiro LTF, Amazon Pay, Emirates Emeralde. Sapphiro is more than 10 years old and shared limit was above 13L.
No other relationship with ICICI
6th March : Went to a nearby ICICI branch, requested to upgrade Sapphiro to paid EPM, BM requested to open wealth account...
Hi! As of now it is only Air India Maharaja Club, Air Asia, ITC and Adani One. All are 100 points = 80 miles/points. They are adding new partners slowly.
How is it way too expensive? Even if you pay the 12500₹ fees you get 12500 reward points which is equivalent to 12500₹ if you use it for a flight or hotel. Basically you just need to pay 2250₹ (GST component) as annual fees.
I had Infinia and DCB black for a long time. Eventually merged it and got the Infinia Metal. Also have Swiggy HDFC and Tata Neu Infinity Rupay from HDFC. So HDFC does allow more than 1 card.
It is worth it for me as I have a lot of international expenses. It is 4% for international transactions with 1.75% fc mark up (0% in Singapore but you get 4% even there). Also it gives points for government transactions in India. Plus the milestones are great as you get 40000 points for 20lac...
I guess they are trying to avoid the magnus fiasco. Even with Infinia people are milking the system with multiple add on cards and phone numbers to buy vouchers. It is just a matter of time before banks devalue stuff once it gets popular.
Cheapest on road price of a car in India I guess will be 5 lacs. So you mean no one should buy a car unless they earn that much in a month. That would definitely make India traffic free. Wonder how much people buying iphones are earning then?
