Axis Bank Burgundy Private Debit got rejected. Mostly AMEX cards only

I wrote to the MD desk and got a call clarifying that if I maintain the Burgundy Savings TRV, there will be 0 annual charges for Burgundy Private Debit Card.

Are you sure about this? I mailed the MD desk, contacted Burgundy customer care, and asked the branch, the RM of a different branch, and all of them said the only Burgundy family privilege that others get is the same RM, which is useless. Even in the family eligibility criteria, it is written...

30L NRV. Opened in July. Saw the update this month I got the Burgundy Private Debit Card. It is of Visa Infinite variant. The documents in the box are exactly the same as I got when I got the normal Burgundy Debit card in July this year.

Someone I know opened a Burgundy savings account last week, and he is getting the MasterCard variant of the debit card. I am getting the private debit card tomorrow; I will let you know which variant it is. On the portal, it says VISA.

My question is: The card fee is 0, but will there be an annual fee on this? I do not have a Burgundy Private account TRV, so I maintain only a Burgundy savings account TRV

Can you tell if you will be charged annual fees for the card? I recently saw this option to upgrade with the card fees as 0, but I have got a regular Burgundy savings account, and don't have the TRV of 5CR.
