EDU spends & Axis (premium) cards

Just to clarify: no mistake in the 'premium' segment since EDU spends are 'included' (counted) for both Atlas & Magnus (but not Horizon & Olympus)

EDU spends & Axis (premium) cards

Something that struck me as odd is that 'Education' spends are rewarded with EM for the Axis Atlas card. The Horizon card (roughly a level below Atlas) and the Olympus card (a level above Atlas) both have 'Education' spends on their exclusions list. This seems strange - particularly given the...

Questions about Infinia & Atlas combo

I searched but can't find a thread on the first point: 1. Is Infinia or Atlas better for points to be transferred to Krisflyer? I am guessing that Infinia will win if the points are through SmartBuy and the Atlas will win otherwise - is this correct? 2. What is a good way to divide up spends...

Axis Atlas Credit Card - Applications Closed from August 31st 2025

I could be completely wrong but: if they wanted to shutdown the Atlas card or merge it with Horizon, they could have simply sent out a notice to all users offering a 'notice period' to move miles to partners at existing rates. So, simply stopping new applications, for Atlas, may not mean...

Atlas - hotel use beyond Accor

Based on advice here and elsewhere, I applied for and received the Atlas card yesterday (perhaps with a day to spare if applications are actually closing). I got the Atlas because I can clearly put 7.5 L on it in a year (if I make it my main card and include EDU spends which are 'counted') but...

Cooling off period between (Axis) cards

Axis seems to have the following policy: if you receive a new credit card from them, you must wait 90 days before applying for another one (and a 3-card limit in total). I know this is true from my netbanking account (and phone-banking as well). Question: does the cooling off period apply to...

Axis Atlas Credit Card - Applications Closed from August 31st 2025

Please tell us which cards you plan to apply for in the near future so we may avoid/close those.

Axis Atlas Credit Card - Applications Closed from August 31st 2025

They may simply 'downgrade' the Atlas card to Horizon at each person's renewal (with the lower annual fee). That way, they have two distinct tiers: Olympus (super premium) and Horizon (premium) and they save some money since Horizon offers only a 1:1 transfer ration.

Atlas vs Infinia (advice for a specific scenario)

Thanks, I saw this. Any idea whether they are (1) simply stopping onboarding of new customers or (2) downgrading the card to 'Horizon' or (3) upgrading 'Horizon' to 'Atlas' level? (I have 'Horizon' available in my netbanking as an upgrade on a LTF card so that may be where I'll end up (but it's...

Atlas vs Infinia (advice for a specific scenario)

Hello all I have an Infinia and am looking for help/advice whether to use just that or add an Axis Atlas card: I have about 12-15L of spends in 1 year. I spend about 2L on smartbuy-gyftr vouchers each year (but could/should 'up' it to 3L). That leaves ~9L of non-accelerated spends which is...

Axis atlas - suitable for me?

I am considering getting the Axis Atlas card - to generate travel points for a family trip in a year or so (uncertain where, when and how). My understanding is that Atlas 'accelerated reward points' come from hotel stays or airline tickets. I don't do too much of either - stays are rare and...

    Second card to complement Infinia

I have an Infinia which I use for most spends (online, offline & Gyftr vouchers). For the offline part - including school fees etc - I am thinking of adding a second card, one focused on travel rewards. I am confused between the Axis Atlas and Amex Plat travel (when Amex re-opens). My confusion...

    Infinia gyftr question

Thank you. Yes, I'm able to do domestic air-travel bookings using these points.

    Infinia gyftr question

I buy a (mandatory) Amazon 10K voucher each month from Gyftr using my Infinia card. I now realize that I may not be using Gyftr enough... For example, there are Swiggy & Zomato vouchers on Gyftr which I don't buy - this is because I hold a few LTF cards that give 'cash' discounts on these apps...

Infinia vs Neu infinity (for BigBasket)

I'm new to RuPay & HDFC Tata-Neu cards. I shop on BigBasket so the Rs. 1500 voucher from Gyftr using Infinia is obviously a good thing to use. After the 1500 cap is where I am confused: (1) buy Amazon vouchers from Gyftr and then use these vouchers to buy a BigBasket gift certificate from...
