As of now i.e 28th sep .. Moratorium period is still 8 years for most of the companies. 30th sep is the last date to comply with updated IRDAI guidelines of 5 years moratorium period which may get extended as well if companies request time from IRDAI for compliance.

Not exactly similar but same kind of thing happened with me as well . Already hold a platinum card , applied for cashback , uploaded the documents via Adobe Acrobat link provided on mail . After that no response from their end . Tried calling customer care , they are asking application no but...

...... As per my understanding majority of the above outlets come under the category of departmental stores that corresponds to 5311 MCC and the same is not the part of the cashback MCC's mentioned in the first comment . So the answer should be NO
