Hey everyone,

I’m planning to visit the New Delhi Railway Lounge and use the DreamFolks platform QR code. However, I’ll be using my mother’s IDFC credit card to get access. Has anyone tried this before? Do they allow entry if the credit card and the QR code are in a different name than the person visiting? Any tips or experiences would be really helpful. Thanks!

I am sharing my recent experience. While visiting Sealdah Executive Lounge with my dad I used two cards My ICICI Coral Rupay 1st for my Dad & My IDFC Select for mine while swiping IDFC Select I learned that guest visits are also allowed for Railway Lounge.
After reaching home I checked Dreamfolks web and yes 1 free guest is complementary per lounge visit.
Yes, you can use your mother's IDFC Card, better get the Dreamfolks QR. They don't check the cardholder's name.

Recently I also availed the guest visit using IDFC Select CC in New Delhi Station
 
Card holder must be present at the time of availing facility in New Delhi lounge pf no.1. So if you are visiting pf no.1 then it will not work without physical presence of your mother. But at pf no.16 it will work. Both have different rules.

bro, now conditions changed. Each rupay select cc (having lounge quota), select dc (having lounge quota) and platinum dc (having lounge quota) gives railway lounge access until or unless particular bank blocks the same.

I use credit cards my credit cards are not powered by Rupay they are Visa/MC Powered. And Railway Lounge has no spend-based criteria even for Rupay cards.
For your kind information, the Spends-based Access is for Rupay Specific Lounges not applicable to other lounges.

I have an AU Ixigo credit card, which offers two complimentary railway lounge accesses per quarter. My mother and I are traveling to Delhi by train. Is there any trick to access the lounge for both of us at the same time?

Generate QR from the DF Website beforehand(minimum 3 hours) and instantly swipe on the counter for the second one.
 
Aaj mai new delhi railway station gya tha hum 3 log the phle try karne ke liye mai akela gya to mere pass 3cards the teeno par railway Lounge tha mene pucha mere sath 3 log aur hai entry ho jaygi kya bola ha ho jaygi koi dikkat nhi idfc se 2 entry kar dunga aur ek coral se kar dunga does not matter name kya hai card kiska hai aisa kuch matter nhi karta hai itna puch kar mene usne 2 ruppes amount debited kara formalities ke liye id card manga and one vaise ye mandatory nhi hain single entry le li then us time lunch available nhi tha then mene coffee maggie le li then mai 30min baad chala gya phir mai dubra 8pm gya then maine apna idfc first card diya counter par Banda change ho gya tha usko card diya usne amount debited kara aur mobile no pucha bus entry done ho gyi Aram se dinner Kara aur ghar aa gya moj le sakte ho tum loog bhi jaake

Bahi platform 16 vala mujhe mila nhi train meri platform 13se thi mai 16 gya mujhe kahi dikha he nhi mai 16 ke entrance par hoga mai beech mai dund raha tha phir mai platform 1 par chala gya 1 vala bhi kafi achha hai crowded bhi nhi tha normal 10/12 log the
