Axis Bank Credit Card Credit Limit Reduced

Hello all,
I've been using Axis cards for the past few years my journey started with a 40k limit 2 years ago with a Flipkart Axis credit card and gradually they inc my limit to 94k

one fine day they increased it to 3.6L I was very happy that I finally got what I deserved
Continuously used my 3-axis cards and paid bills on time

Today they sent me a message shown below



I thought they inc my limit but within a few months they reduced my limit to again 94k

It's enough..... They r very unstable with their policies

What do you think about this?
I am thinking of canceling all my cards except Airtel cc
I've SBI cashback and another Flipkart card in the family so, after this, I don't want to pay AF to keep this card with such a low limit
I've been genuinely using these cards and I have an SB account as well

Currently, all my card limits are >2L
So disappointed after seeing this message from them

Axes being axes !
And unimaginable rectification , I hear these stories only from Axes Bank. In 2018, I thought axes was a premium card to get, but now it’s STOOP to a very low level.

Axis is adjusting the balance sheet to issue more cards during the festive Season. Better close the non-useful cards. With SBI CB, Axis FK is pretty useless.

If it’s adjusting it’s balance , sheet the limit should be decreased by 20-50% but not around 70%

Airtel card: 2-3k
Flipkart card: I use this card occasionally when I need to buy any electronics or other items (3.4L) this year
Axis Neo: use it rarely (Downgraded from axis privilege card)

I understand your point but we are talking about Classic A🪓s. When a customer is regularly using his/her cards, paying all the dues on time, and has a good relationship with the bank 10-15% decrease is acceptable. Also, some users might have 1-2 bank CC when any bank reduces the limit it increases the overall utilization of the user.

I have done the same , closed my fk cc a week ago .

I will also close the FK Axis card before getting charged AF next year.
After using the SBI CB, the FK Card is useless for me only kept it for buying anything above 1L from FK.

same for my apay card..after having cb cc..all online spending cards r dead for me..better he should close axis and take sbi cb or hdfc millenia or swiggy

Yes i will use my mother's millennia and sbi cashback cc for all the future spends

This is clear-cut fraud by Axis. They have written in their documentation that after migration, the limit will be Citi + Axis. They are violating their own rules. I think this should be highlighted to the RBI ombudsman, and proper action should be taken against Axis.
