In actual that has to be booked from Amex Platinum travel desk. Need to check with them if there is any markup or difference.

There can be significant markup when booking with Amex travel desk and hence you need to compare with market rates at time of booking. Offer looks good though if prices from amex are same as market rate.

I personally never made any bookings with Amex Travel desk. So not sure of the markup and difference.

Normally on Amex Travel Desk price is higher side than booking directly

Here is difference in price for Lalit bangalore booking direct 5700 and on amex plat travel 6200 excluding tax Aug 29 to Aug 30. Lalit Delhi 8775 on amex travel direct is 8k

This alone was major letdown for me . If only 1 room would have been required, I could have gone for staycation in Lalit Delhi !

But arranging 2-3 more ppl 😂
