Swiggy hdfc and hdfc millennia

for HDFC millennia, you can purchase it directly from amazon

for HDFC Swiggy, @VISHESH_BANSAL bhai mentioned a specific merchant name, if that comes then avoid buying rest merchant works fine.

For Swiggy HDFC use Amazon for GVs Purchases.

Avoid Merchant Name "AMAZON" in OTP SMS. Rest Would be fine for GVs.

buy from payzapp app, evoucher- gyftr in shop section. they will charge 2.95% as convenience fee, but give 5% cashback in statement within 7 days. after card statement generaton you will get 1% cb. so total= 5-2.95+ 1=3% cb overall. better than 2% cb that you get from amazon icici card for gc purchase

Yes did that too as I had to buy a huge sum so used every possible method

I had recently observed that while buying GV from Amazon we are getting merchant name as amazon on OTP page, which according to so many, will give Amazon Gift card name on final payment (ineligible for 5%).
Even after after multiple attempts, I’m getting Amazon (ineligible) & not amazon.in (eligible) on OTP page!!

So a work around for this is add any other small value item in the cart along with the GV and then pay, you’ll get amazon.in on OTP page & Amazon pay India as merchant name (eligible for 5%).
Later you can cancel that extra item or return after delivery!!

The mcc code changed recently.
Before that everyone was getting cashback for buying gift cards.
Now it is showing merchant name as Amazon Gift card which is not eligible for cashback
