Bhai, few days ago I raised a concern with Kotak on twitter regarding MCC of a transaction

On next day, I got call from their twitter support team that we have transferred this information to your branch and they will contact you.

I was like? Can't you tell me about it?

Today I received a call from my branch, he told me he has all the information and will send me on WhatsApp. I was like, fine and this is what I've received:

Was holding Kotak Credit Card I opened new account 811 super today, App automatically detected my existing CRN.

Now how to check it's super or not. Activated only a hour earlier. Its not showing any virtual Debit card. Do I need to apply for Virtual Debit Card or will it auto generate in some time..

It is the normal 811 virtual DC. The 811 super platinum DC starts with 428091. But both the DCs are eligible for 5% cb (provided that you're successfully enrolled in the Super program). I have verified it myself.

Are you sure the digital DC is also eligible for 5% cashback... Coz I just opened a new 811 Super account & I don't think that my physical card will be delivered before 31st !!

Bro I am in same issue.. Have credit card but since RBI imposed ban on Kotak for new customer onboarding, branch people said that I cannot open 811 account due to existing CRN issue. This was 2-3 months ago tho.. Is it resolved now?

Yes I opened today only. Actually in branch there are seperate 811 agents. Normal Branch people refused and tried to tilt towards normal account. Only bluntly refusing was given number of 811 agent.

Yes. I'd used the normal (RED) virtual DC last month to pay cc bill on Unipay and have received Rs. 500 this month.

Can you please share the number of 811 agent? I tried here in my local branch and they called a guy who tried but got error (This was 2-3 months ago maybe their policy is changed).. but if you can share the number that would be great.

Virtual Debit Card is not showing. As per CC virtual card option is not availble for Super customers. Only those upgrading will be able to see virtual card.

Incorrect. I opened Super account (NTB) last month yet I got the normal virtual DC.

Just had a conversation with 811 support and he said we are only supposed to get the super card as physical card only and those who have virtual card available is because of some glitch
