The promoter holding already is around 21%, so already public + institutional holding is at 79% before IPO. Also, the OFS portion is about 10% of the market cap. Any way you look at it, the number you're quoting is wildly wrong, what am I missing?

Please explain to me how is `Public` holding a stock before an IPO? I believe your definition of Public includes Private Investors / VCs as well. Generally, for layman like me, during an IPO, those are all promotors and promotor groups.

- Promoters & Promoter Group: ~21.1% (293.3 million shares)
- VC/PE Investors & Others: ~78.9% (≈1.097 billion shares)
- Public (general investors): 0% (since it’s the first IPO).
Post IPO:
- Founders = 21.1% (unchanged in % because they are not selling)
- Public (including those VC/OFS shares) = 78.9%
- VCs/Investors (as a standalone category) = exit/partially reduced → absorbed into Public.
Btw the jump from loss to profit in FY is very shady
