Even I am getting such reminder emails, wanted to know whether they'll automatically downgrade to the next lower tier or straight to basic account?

Yes they will download downgrade..
They had downgraded my account several times

Even our rich Vaibhav is getting downgrade

I have imperia account and holding imperia easy shop Debit Card, if the account is downgraded to standard saving max account, will I be charged for Debit Card ?

They downgraded me to one level lower because I had that level MAB..
Then I increased MAB to 10L and manually upgraded it..like that it is going up and down

are there any tangible benefits of Imperia?

@HumorSimpson since my sb and current both in hdfc so being maintaining above mab required for imperia for years just for eggs in 2 basket situation. Now i have made up mind to keep everything im idfc and earn more saving interest then ever. Cause limit is already 12L on infina how much more would i required plus it ltf plus i have bizblack and Tata neu ltf nothing in term of relationship hdfc can provide me plus it over 10yr old account with good amount of trv but i want better interest only deposit cash in imperia have a edge vs other hdfc sb variant.
