I booked some profit yesterday.
The rest of the portfolio had a 12% dip today.
Bought as much as I could with last-day profits and surplus cash I had.
Will keep it all for the long term.
So many experts here think it was a good decision to buy the dip. Some relief now, I bought stocks (power and banking) for the first time with a plan to keep them long term and was worried if I made a mistake.
@shivamk It's good decision to buy at dip but it's something responding to election results not the companies performance etc. Right be cautious it can turnout to be very good as well bad
@Astraea right, but since the complete market is down, aren't most of the shares expected to slowly recover with the market? Any example case where investments today might not give good results in long term?
