It's mandatory for them if they want to be a decent sized player. They don't have cards with very good reward rate like HDFC or SBI so they are following ICICI path
Except SBI CB card, there are no SBI cards with decent reward rates. Surely BOB cards are on a roll for more applications. But they need to improve their overall so called snail paced application process. Then only they gain some decent market share or at least compete with others.
Sorry for my first comment, that's my views. I used to see BoBCards for wallet load strictly seeing my present or than card portfolio. BoBcards doesn't make sense for me now except for some offers but yeah it's just my views.
@noobdipesh I really wished you just read the lines only, and NOT THROUGH THE LINES... I just mentioned certain spends... Forget using SD, not even its founder Kunal Bahl gives a dime on Snapdeal these days. The certain case I mentioned was, any online shopping, any OTA spends, gives 2.5% RP, in addition to massive offers as upfront discounts being rolled out by BOB these days...
5000 per month for Eterna equates to 33333 rupees spent. 2000 per month for both Premier and SD equates to 20000 spent.. Since most of the card holders in the forum holds mostly 2 BOB cards, a cumulative spent of 40-50k is rewarding per month. Since we are not just speaking of RP, but also the great discounts and merchants bob covers these days. So For genuine spending middle class, it still is a good value proposition
