@Ash8 Good question. The original poster (desiviru) actually requested to delete the entire thread. It was deleted earlier. Now, restored considering others' contributions, but with locked state (assumed the offer is no longer live). Technically, desiviru could delete all his posts in that thread, except the first post that could be used to post "anything". I'd like to avoid such a situation, thus suggesting to create a new thread which could be "linked" to the aforementioned thread.
@6ix9ine Someone in TF misguided you. My apologies. OP has all the privilege to delete his own post/s within the thread, except the first post that can't be deleted, but still can be edited (to make it void of any content).
@Mr. Bean You are not understanding the very basic point. If I am the creator of the thread, I can request any mod to delete it permanently. Period.
What you're saying is that there is no difference between the OP and other people. According to your logic, everyone is the same.
Any XYZ person can delete his/her comments from any thread, but to delete the thread, they have to request the staff. As the OP, they should be given that privilege, instead of being told, "Since it's been contributed to by others, you are no longer the OP."
I am not the OP of any thread, but I can delete or edit any comment. What makes me different from the OP if the benefits are the same?
There is no point in arguing, nothing is going to change.
@6ix9ine@desiviru The decision to undelete the post wasn't taken by me alone. Also, it wasn't decided in a hurry, either. So, the current decision is unlikely to change. Thanks again for your valuable insights.
Others' contributions: Asking repetitive questions even though which were already addressed, just to get feeded by spoon is so called others' contribution?
Let it be whatever don't want to get into it. However, something gonna change for sure.
Since I never used SBI Rewardz, I have no idea whether the offer is live or if the offer is renewed once in a while.
May I suggest creating a new post with the title "SBI Rewardz: Accelerated 5X/10X Reward Points - 2025?"
