If you have 30L - 50L TRV via ICICI, they tend to upgrade you to Private Banking. ICICI doesn't follow rules, if you give business to them, they will do everything for you at a lower criteria.

Yes, this account will operate on a zero balance, but you will still need to maintain some funds in your account. The branch manager will never provide the same level of service on a zero-balance account that they would for an account maintaining a few lakh rupees.

The best option is to create a fixed deposit (FD) of ₹10 lakh and leave it there. This will ensure that you remain a permanent wealth customer. Even if your account balance drops to zero, it won’t be an issue. Banks typically require an average balance of ₹10 lakh for wealth accounts.

Two to three days after your account is opened, call customer care directly and request a wealth debit card and a special cheque book for wealth customers. Make sure that "Wealth Segment" is mentioned everywhere in your account details. Sometimes, despite being a wealth customer, banks may issue a regular cheque book or debit card instead. You may need to specifically request the correct one.

My account is linked and there is no details about DC and Account kit dispatch. But the account is still showing as Privilege Banking, Any idea when the account status will be updated and kit be dispatched?

Not sure about the upgrade time as I opened the WM account directly. They send Kit via Bluedart within 3-5 days depending on the location. They are very fast, within 4 days, I received the Kit, Cheque Book, Pay-n-Slip & DC all together.

No No this is not an upgrade. I hold CC and got Privilege Banking relationship based on CC. Now on Opening account, it's directly choice of account number and 0MAB Wealth account.

Okay, wait for this week as due to Holi and FY ending it might take 2-3 days extra compared to other times.
