Tumko kya pasad he uspar depend krta. Medical engineering non useful science(bsc) bacho ko pitna(bed) college ke ladkiyoke sath Bestfriend Banna(bsc bed) jindagibharr exam dete rehna(ca) etc
If you are interested in management you can check out iim indore 5yr ipm course. (Ba foundation of management + mba pgp ).
This is much easier way to get into iim indore than through cat after bachelor's. Also it will give you boost during placement seasons. Male Engineers ko koi nahi puchta.😂
Adv- 1. Demands much lower effort (alternative is getting into a good college, maintaining good academics , getting good score in cat, clearing wat/gd/pi. At that time if you are gen/ male/engineer/ fresher you have to work even harder.
During placement seasons(also during bschool admin) women are preffered over men, general streams are preffered over technical streams etc To meet their diversity quota.
2. Getting both ba and pgp degree from iim indore( good brand, big alum nw)
Disadvantage-
1.You limit yourself. Once you get in, doors to better colleges(for mba) closes on you
-iim a,b,c,L, xl, isb etc.
Still you can get an accelerated degree or leadership program later if you want to associate with a bigger brand.
2. Time limit. Your attention on pcm will decrease as you have to cover new topics. (To be honest they are much easier but you don't have too much time. Exam would be mostly in 2 months.
3. Ba fee is pretty high. (5lpa. ) you can easily get loan. But keep in mind you would be sitting on more than 40L debt by the time you graduate. 🤣
@hender not really. Ba/bcom courses doesn't cost 5lpa. Even most engineering courses doesn't cost 15l for 4yr.
Here ba would cost 15l + prevailing rate of pgp. So even if you get admission now, your pgp fee would be same as those who get in through cat 3 yrs later.
The only advantage is brand. Most likely faculty would be different. Mba courses (even with same name) are very different from ba/bcom/bba. E.g. mba econ is number based, ba econ is theory based. Funny thing we had some econ graduates ( Ferguson, du etc) in our batch. But all econ papers toppers were engineers. 2 states was right. 🤣
