    Today, I submitted two CC applications. Both are vKyc done and awaiting approval/ rejection messages.

    I just applied for Yes Bank LTF Elite+ (visa/MC) plus LTF Rupay (virtual) a few minutes ago. I just finished vKyc. (No docs were asked.) The CC application process took a total of 20 minutes.
    I'm Taking Badla of GF. By the way, GF activated my neon annual subscription without the card. I deleted the app in anger. I don't need their 5%.

    The Indusind CC Application of Legend LTF took 45 minutes to complete (including 25 minutes waiting for vKyc). On the spot, it offered me the second-highest Credit limit (out of the 12 cards I already have)

    My sole objective at the moment is to get some PLCC offers and reduce my CC limit utilization.

    @TechnoFino Its good that you have a feature to ignore some members.
    Is there a way I can block a member (and/or guests) to view my contents (i.e., the post I share).

    Because my ignore list is increasing and I don't want to share anything for those I am ignoring. Please let me know if that option is available. Many senior members have already stopped sharing valuable information and updates.

    SBI Card is offering a conversion of card network from Amex/MC/Visa/Others to Rupay (subject to availability of offers), and upgrades are also possible on call.
    I don't think this is new information. I'm still sharing it because if you are interested, try it out.
    I tried. I got a fee waiver, so I postponed conversion for the time being.

    If I apply and use one person's referral code for Kiwi Yes CC, can that person know the applicant's identity (me)?
    I want secrecy (personal choice).

    @2025 they just review your limit every six months but that does not mean you will get it everytime

    @n69b by that logic I should have received the update exactly after 12 months or 18 months and not in between. But in reality, as already mentioned, I got exactly after 14 months. So, some other things are into the picture too.

    For those patiently waiting for the Kotak 811 Super DC January cashback issue.
    Here are some critical updates. I got the call in the morning. Please take a look at this and the following posts by other members.

    They told me there was an internal fight. My proofs and logical arguments, particularly the email attachment of 17th January (eligibility of utilities), contributed a lot to winning on behalf of other genuine users and for those who have a sense within the banks.

    Hence, the decision-making authority accepts the mistake and will credit the cashback, possibly in a few days in April, due to an accounting problem. The maximum deadline is 30 April. They will follow up with an email with the promise in written form to make my case smother for RBI if those "so-called" higher authorities backtrack again.

    I am thinking of attempting a Yes Bank Credit Card (Online only) (Never applied before) (New to Bank).
    My preference is LTF, wallet loading if possible, PLCC at a lower rate, cibil basis and quick approval.
    Which one to apply? Any quick suggestions?

    IDFC is now very liberal in issuing CC. Try ur luck.

    Took three cc within a week (two today itself).

    For me IDFC experience so far is very subpar. A guy called for address verification and I told him that I am at office and can stay home tomorrow if he can visit. Rather he put the application into address not verifiable state.

    Guys, if you are a gareeb insaan like me and regularly use SBI DC/VDC for payment, please revisit the SBI rewards portal to check the reward balance credit, dated March 1, 2025.

    Some positive surprise waiting there.
    Acknowledging the good thing of a bank (reconciliation of points), where it is due.

    The points have disappeared from Yono. I'm waiting for them to disappear from the rewards portal. Maine sayaad kuch jyada hi tareef kar di. Logo ne toh bank ko hi bata dia via twitter. It's very sad.

    I hope that the bank will make some adjustments and credit the due points (as actual).

    Just finished reading a few threads on IDFC CC. Almost everyday are soo negetive on IDFC CCs these days yet all are happy with IDFC DCs.

    After taking my 1st IDFC card the feel I am getting from my inner self is like as if I did some crime. :flushed-face:

    First time I took a card without even knowing what does it offer. Because my purpose was different. Hey God please be on my side.

    I preferred IDFC over Amex. Never applied for any Amex CC.

    I am astonished by the speed at which IDFC approves and delivers credit cards.

    I thought about applying for an IDFC credit card today after 5 PM, and now, before 6 PM, I have the card number. (Credit limit is exactly as displayed during the application process)

    I have no prior banking relationship with them. It's too good. IDFC - 100, Critics - 0.

    Well, after devaluation their credit card does not hold any value. Hence wider road less traffic 🙂

    It's not C2C. It's online. I got offers of Ashva, Mayura, Power+, Select, etc. I chose select (without paying 199 for an additional Rupay UPI card).
    When asked if I had a CC, I gave the reference of HDFC (though the HDFC limit is the second lowest among all the cards I hold) and displayed a limit of about 1.5x of that limit. Hope this helps.

    @Beyond I just need loan offer at a lower interest rate. That's all. Otherwise, I am almost saturated with my needs.

    Nothing special. Only using my millennia cc to fulfil these kind of offers. Only have one cc loan emi (about to end).
    My txn. in last three months:
    1. January 6*1000 agv for 500.
    2. February 6*500 agv for 500.
    3. March 6*500 agv (yet to buy) for 500.

    Receiving 5% reward points also as per card features. So technically, 13- 22% discount / return. Bill payment cashback addl.

    @Jeevan rao Now-a-days they don't send email, I usually get these offers in my mobile app (message box). Can confirm about the fulfillment in next month only. I know earlier they used to send such offers in email only.

    (Edit for) Context: Kotal 811 Sucker Account January Cashback. It's not because of the cashback denial, but how their redressal desk deals with it to justify their unethical practices. I can't even log in to the Kotak app after I proved them how they are lying.

    @Anupama_Jha Utility txn (MCCs) and some other mcc codes not eligible for cashback. That's they have updated retrospectively from 1st Jan 2025. Their webpage updated it on 28th January, I have received email on same date (I.e., on 28th only). My txn date was 7th January in two different mcc 4900 and 4814. Even though their email received by me (specifically mentioning my CRN number) dated 17th January (and before) asking me to pay utility bills to get 500 cashback.

    For a fun, u can see in the screenshot they have prospectively updated t&c for 811 rewards. The date that yet to come... 5 months later. And they finally told me it's written in t&c while signing up for 811 account regarding reward they can do whatever they wish. If they want they can go in past, they can also go in future whichever time whatever they wish we cannot question them. Infact their t&c itself says they can even deny that own t&c if it suits them because web t&c s are sometime not the primary t&c.

    Aap hi batao ayse logo ko kea samjhau aur kayse samjhau. Inko samjhate samjhate main mera samajh kho Raha hun. So stopped.

    Don't know why but my TF message counts and reaction score are getting reduced all of a sudden without any reason.

    For reference: in last few hours about 70 messages and about 90 reactions erased.

    Guys it's not about points. It's about our contribution getting erased.

    If my posts are getting vanished then what's the meaning of all my posts and time spent here. I might quit.

    Edit: Just came to know it's related to deletion of one of the most active thread in TF history with 120+ pages (120*20 = 2400+ posts by about 300+ members). It is more likely that 300+ good posts by 100+ members are also impacted by this decision.

    Information archiving (by closing further comments with a link to connected thread) in my view is a much better option to follow, if needed.

    Logically speaking, when a thread becomes too large (30+ pages) it becomes an asset, it's no longer two three members contribution, it's a collective contribution of many members. It is not owned by anyone either. Therefore, personal decision of two or three members is not enough in such cases. Synchronisation of information with time is also necessary.

    Hence, I oppose such action.

    While I noticed some reactions count going down a bit as well, I don't think any "normal" mod has access to all the changelog. Only senior mods (or admin/s) can help here.

    That said, this kind of deletion happens with almost every forum that I have even been part of (either on the front end or the backend) in the past 25+ years, particularly any active forum. A common scenario is when we switch the forum software which is not the case here.

    I'd suggest the admins to consider recognizing some people like "RAMESH BABU N" ji for their valuable contribution (like how sjmajumder was given "RBIO King" trophy, even though I'd have preferred a gender-neutral word) . In this way, when some content is deleted they don't feel any bad.

    Update: My posts and points are back. So as the thread under debate.
    Thank you guys for your reply on this sensitive issue and understanding it on its core.
    By the way, some of my very good TF friends had an opposite view on this issue.
