    Que. IDFC DC is devalued? Is it not giving points for __ anymore?
    Ans. Not sure. It could be a warning or a work in progress.

    I believe unrealistic CC bill payment rewards will not survive unless TF moderators move the surviving ones to private/ members-only perks. Everyone, particularly our commander(s), needs to realize this. I know I am being selfish here.

    @coolguy1 Most likely freecharge option is also gone for IDFC First tap. Made 2 payment just now and both got categorized as Loan EMI. Merchant name is Freechargepaymenttechnmumbai.

    @vipin89 I have also not received instant reward points on payments done on FreeCharge via IDFC First Tap Debit card. The merchant name is FREECHUTIL.

    @abhimittal007 Well, just completed a transaction in freecharge for 2000. merchant was freechutil and points got credited instantly.

    Update (Issue Resolved): Apay was facing issues in sending gift card code. Your successful order was not able to generate a working gift card code/link around 12:30 am 25/04/2025.

    Now issue resolved. It's working again as usual. I have just redeemed previous order.

    Today afternoon, I received an OTP for a ₹14,499 transaction on my HSBC credit card via Amazon.
    This raised an immediate red flag — I rarely use this card, and only one relative occasionally uses it for discounts. He isn’t educated and doesn’t read English.


    I called him right away and asked if he had requested an OTP.
    He said no — he was out ploughing the field and had been receiving nonstop messages from the bank. Alarmed, he started walking home to show his phone to someone who could understand them.

    Everyone who saves card details, just make sure that call and sms forwarding are not active by dialling *#21# and checking the status. Can prevent this fraud.

    i called scammer few min ago from different number he said he working in amazon when i asked why are you scamming people he disconnected call and switch off mobile

    Hi all,
    This afternoon, I asked a question in this thread: Can someone guide me through the process of getting a free annual subscription to Timesprime Membership? After some initial discussion without much success, one gentleman came, and casually provided a link, which later came out as the homepage link to get the membership using Visa offers. Probably, it got live at Technofino even before the link actually got live on the Visa webpage.

    I am looking to apply for some add-on credit cards for my wife, who resigned from her (good) government job six years ago.

    Which of the following credit cards has separate benefits for its add-on cards? I'm looking for ideas. Please note that if the benefits are shared and there is just an increase in the card number, then it has no real impact because we usually stay and travel together. Only I will be using both cards.

    This will also help others decide which banks to choose for add-on cards. Many would like to know about add-on credit cards that can co-exist...

    Just check and confirm me whether "most" or "all" upi transaction giving 0.16%.

    I know mcc, thanks to my idfc rupay cc that you earlier said good for nothing. Most of the regular ones are grocery 5411.

    If in case "all" then it must be that upi txn in SBI rupay cards do not yield preferred category benefits. In that case it will be 0.17% only.

    Charges remain same. But it won't apply for salary account. This waiver probably applies for single card only. Any additional card will possibly have charges. I am not 100% sure on this, but that's the usual rule of salary accounts of PSUs unless otherwise specified.

    Today, I submitted two CC applications. Both are vKyc done and awaiting approval/ rejection messages.

    I just applied for Yes Bank LTF Elite+ (visa/MC) plus LTF Rupay (virtual) a few minutes ago. I just finished vKyc. (No docs were asked.) The CC application process took a total of 20 minutes.
    I'm Taking Badla of GF. By the way, GF activated my neon annual subscription without the card. I deleted the app in anger. I don't need their 5%.

    The Indusind CC Application of Legend LTF took 45 minutes to complete (including 25 minutes waiting for vKyc). On the spot, it offered me the second-highest Credit limit (out of the 12 cards I already have)

    My sole objective at the moment is to get some PLCC offers and reduce my CC limit utilization.

    Update: Got Indusind Card Number on 31st March 2025. Within two days (1st working day after application). Yes CC got rejected. Received email on April Fool day. Maybe because of back to back application. They didn't mention any specific reason.

    @rimtesh that's also good card. Infact that was my 1st choice but it's Co-branded. I wanted a core card first. Legend has a higher eligibility criteria. Will take tiger/ ezydinner later if needed. I am not sure about if I take tiger first then I would get legend or higher variant core card. Hence I attempted to get legend only.
