Don't close the 4th Axis Card. I used to have four Axis cards and once my Citi Indian Oil migrated to Axis I had five. But when I had to apply for Atlas, I had to close old Axis Indian Oil, Ace and Neo to apply Atlas as my third card.

While redeeming you have to select card and then the portal shows the miles / points available on that card. Atlas and IO Premium both accrue Edge Miles, but transfer ratio changes once you select the card. It shows 1:2 for Atlas and 2:1 for IO Premium.
