Strangely, last year, the lady at the reception denied to swipe any debit cards. She didn't seem to care that it was Rupay Select, and was just dismissive of the debit cards. Ended up using some other credit card.

I think the banks on the banner for both the sales are premium sponsors. But usually, we do end up seeing lot of other bank offers for direct/emi tnx like fedCC, IndusInd etc. May be we will see HDFC emi offers on these days.

Had bought the 256L convertible from FK during monsoon sale in June 2023 at 24.5k with all discounts. Could've been lower with cashback on Millenia, but FK ended up reporting Education MCC for this transaction. No issues with the refrigerator until now - It has been just 2 years.

Slightly off topic noob question - If one just plans to go for economy int'l flights (once or twice a year) and is satisfied with <5k hotels per night, is it worth to enter the points/miles game with these cards? All Accor/Bonvoy properties seem to start at >5k for just the basic room variants...

Had got the apply option. Continued up until 2nd stage. And then had to abandon the process in between. Opened the app again to see "Coming Soon". Has been the same since 2 days now. I think I'll now have to wait for 60 days to apply - as per their policy.

Strangely, MyMoney lists it under food category, but even that should be eligible, as other entries in the same category were considered for cashback.

Can someone help with the best option to get resolution on cashback not credited for eligible spends? Used the toll free number to connect with a phone banking personnel, he wasn't able to resolve and instead suggested to go to the nearest branch !! Strangely, MyMoney lists it under food...

One of my shopping transaction wasn't considered. Spoke to the phone banking customer, but he was not able to resolve the issue and suggested to go to the bank itself. Is there any customer care email for debit card related issues?

Update: Logged back in using the primary number just to check if something had changed. Strangely, Pro card was being offered. Applied and approved within 5 mins without any vkyc.

Not possible since SmartPay (SI) cannot be enabled for it yet.

@Joltpost You mean Apay voucher of ~17k to get 3% back as 500? But I think SBI CB seems better option for someone having it. If it turns out to be 8%, then yeah, best option. Let us know how it goes... Btw, with Apay Bal devalued, it doesn't leave many avenues for big ticket usage.

Biggest resistance to using this card has been the redemption rule of min 1000, at least for me. May not be the case for someone with lot of purchases related to the offer categories.
