Problem is that statement will get generated by then with outstanding joining fee.. Obviously they will mark as late-payment or defaulter on CIBIL :-(

The application PDF sent by HSBC does not mention card variant. HSBC claiming that I applied for Cashback CC. I had no idea, else I would not have received the courier. Phone executive is asking to clear dues ( Joining Fee ) for taking card closure request. I have not performed any transaction...
