    Canara bank refusing to open savings account

    I have a Canara bank branch 3 kms from my home. Today I visited the bank branch to get an account opened. After looking at the address in my aadhar card, the bank staff member asked me if I don't have a bank close to my home (3 km form there). I said I do have banks there but not Canara bank...
