@souvikdey2002 @b4ukiran2000 thanks for the replies, I guess I'll just wait for the offer to be rolled out in that case, thanks!
Yes and try to maintain a good balance in savings account along with a fair number of transaction/month.
Convert the account to a higher variant savings account if possible.
Also try to spend as much as possible on your Regalia untill you get the DCB LTF offer & sometimes knock HDFC Customer Care & show your interest.

These all actions together will force HDFC to think about yourself to upgrade Regalia LTF to DCB LTF.

Here is my latest Portfolio:-

1. ICICI Bank Sapphiro=LTF-->6,00,000
2. Amazon Pay ICICI=LTF--> 6,70,000(Limit shared)
2. HDFC DCB=LTF--> 7,73,000
3. One Card=LTF-->4,65,000
4. IndusInd Legend=LTF-->5,00,000
5. IDFC First Wealth=LTF-->9,28,000
6. Citi Indian Oil=LTF-->3,18,000
7. HSBC Cashback=FYF-->1,21,000
8, Axis Select=LTF-->1,00,000
9. BOB--> Don't which variant & what limit I would get but something will get for sure

ICICI Sapphiro I have managed to convert my existing Chargeable card in to LTF after a long fight with their Regional Head.
I'm waiting for the One Metal to arrive, post that will try to post a picture for sure.

Secured CC of Canara bank, my first and only secured CC.

30K limit against FD of 40K something (LTF, I guess all secured CCs are). Nowadays cards are not usually laminated but this one is and the lamination plastic has come off. I seldom use it.

I've also seen someone with a PNB CC (branch manager of some PNB branch) . Which is kinda pretty rare to see.
It's looking same as canara bank debit card 😁

Nice. How did you get your Yes bank cards, that too LTF?

You can try making your HDFC CC LTF. I have HDFC business moneyback as LTF and many here have even DCB, Infinia as LTF.

BOB is offering LTF version of CC, you could apply C2C now.
I had gotten a call from yes bank guy. And he told me that upgrade is free and lifetime free.

I want to make hdfc cc ltf. Anyone who could help.

I see. Even my Yes bank branch people told me a month ago about some CC offer, but haven't made any follow ups, despite my repeated enquiries, after which I stopped enquiring.

I find it strange that they told me about some offer by themselves but later they didn't take it up after that.
You might not have fallen in their criteria at that moment.

HDFC doesnt make credit cards LTF after issuing a fee based card. You can request your RM or customer care for the same. If you are a high value customer with them, i.e. you hold a high value savings/current account with them, they may convert it to LTF, however, the chances are slim.
You can wait for HDFC to roll out an upgrade and hope that it is LTF

You should keep this as an antique piece.

Definitely. It'll expire in 2024, but I'll definitely not be throwing this away.

It may not have any benefits, may have a very low limit (30K). Might be secured. But it's my first CC nonetheless (even though it's not reported to Cibil yet, will check with branch manager soon). And thus will have a special memory for me.
How old it is? Some banks don't report FD based CC, Kotak 811 dream different CC in "some cases" does not report either, and in some very late reporting.

What about other CC issuers?

Even I believe it's difficult to make one card LTF after getting a paid version.
Yes indeed, it is very hard.
I have personally a hell lot of fight with ICICI to convert my Sapphiro card a to LTF version because what they think-if it is converted then then the spend will be less.

Does anybody hold here ICICI Diamant Credit Card??
I want to listen from that person how does it feel to hold a card after paying a joining fee of almost 1,20,000+GST.

TBH it's weird from their side. How did you manage to convince them?
First I tried normal way like calling Customer Care, going to branch people but either all these guys are really dumb or they don't have any power given to take any decision on their own. So they firmly told me "NO CHARGEBALE CARD CAN BE CONVERTED TO LTF IN ICICI, IT'S NOT POSSIBLE"

By chance my employer does have a Corporate Banking Relationship with ICICI & I went through that channel.
So after an escalation made to their Corporate relationship manager from my end I had an interaction with their Credit Card Regional Head, East.

Then he took up my case & after seeing my spending pattern, Cibil Score & existing relationship with ICICI Bank he himself made the decision to convert my existing chargeable card to LTF which is one of the rarest scenario for a Higher Variant card like Sapphiro where the charges are 4000/year.
